Abergele Community Action provides community-based intervention in North Wales, focused on young people aged 10 to 25 that have been, or at risk of becoming, excluded from mainstream social, economic, educational, and digital opportunities.
This service is carried out via their Youth Shed, where staff deliver a range of activities designed to build self-confidence in young participants and to support them back into education, training, or employment.
Abergele Community Action supported 350 young people in their first year of the project alone, and will receive £125,000 from AGCF until 2025.
