Back On Track

The Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation is delighted to announce grants awarded in a recent round of funding, including Back on Track’s ‘Swan Kitchen Catering Training’ project.

The Project will train homeless ex-offenders in catering skills that will provide opportunities for progression into work in the catering and hospitality industry. After completing an introductory catering course, the participants will progress onto a catering and hospitality training programme with an accredited qualification tailored to complement job vacancies in Manchester.

Work placements in a professional standard kitchen and café, and one-to-one support, will be available to every participant, providing genuine work experience. Those that work in the kitchen will produce food available to Back on Track programme participants at Swan Café.
