Just-Ice works to provide employment opportunities and support for survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking by selling slavery-free, high quality, artisan ice cream at their café space in Poynton.

The ice cream itself is made on the edge of the Peak District by a chef who is a survivor of modern slavery themselves. By using only milk from local dairies, ensuring there is an entirely ethical supply chain free, involving only fairtrade ingredients.

Their café space offers individuals with experiences of human trafficking and modern slavery the opportunity to develop employability skills and qualifications as a transition to work.

Since AGCF’s grant of £25,000 in May 2023, Just-Ice have been able to provide employability support and work placements to three survivors of modern slavery, two of whom have become paid members of Just-Ice staff.
